This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for tutoring services provided by Vertex Learn.

By booking or paying for lessons with Vertex Learn, you agree to the terms set out in this Refund Policy.
1. Nature of Services
Vertex Learn provides educational services (tutoring), not physical or digital products. Refunds are therefore assessed based on lesson delivery rather than product returns.
2. Free Trial Lessons

Free trial lessons are provided at no cost.

As no payment is made, free trial lessons are not eligible for refunds.
3. Paid Lessons
a) Lessons Not Yet Delivered

Paid lessons that have not yet taken place may be refunded if cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Refunds may alternatively be offered as a rescheduled lesson, at Vertex Learn’s discretion.

b) Lessons Cancelled with Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice

Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund.

This includes last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or late arrivals preventing the lesson from taking place.

c) Lessons Already Delivered

Once a lesson has been delivered, it is non-refundable.

Dissatisfaction with lesson content or outcomes does not automatically entitle a refund.
4. Tutor Cancellations
If a lesson is cancelled by Vertex Learn or the tutor:

A full refund will be offered, or
-
The lesson may be rescheduled at no additional cost
The choice will be agreed with the customer where possible.
5. Lesson Packages & Block Bookings

Where lessons are purchased as a package or block, refunds apply only to unused lessons, subject to the 24-hour cancellation requirement.

Used or missed lessons within a package are non-refundable.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
Vertex Learn may, at its discretion, consider refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness or emergencies). Supporting evidence may be requested.
7. Method of Refund

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
8. Changes to This Policy
Vertex Learn reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. The latest version will always be published on our website.
